The force behind my creativity

There comes a point in your life when you don’t feel like doing anything but just flow with the rhythm of life. You eat, drink, sleep and yes go to work as well just for the reason that you need to be in this world. Well, I guess I was going through that phase of my life. Thus, I was far from the blogging world for so long. Anyway, let’s leave this aside and focus on today's post. This is indeed a special post dedicated to my grandmother, my mentor.

Below two are wall hangings that she machine embroidered many years back. She had her own teaching center then. Many of her students today run their own venture. She does not remember exactly when she made them and she cannot embroider currently either. But she has well treasured these old pieces and loves to flaunt them.

Will be back very soooooooon...

I remember I used to do embroidery when my mother was learning to stitch. I used to trace designs on cloth and practice various forms. So I can recognized a few terms and relate to what you are doing. It takes me back to my childhood and the simple-hearted fun we used to have then! It is a great hobby and a very creative use of time. It is really good to know that you are carrying the legacy of your grand mother forward. (Really happy to see her pic here.) Keep up the good work and I will keep visiting your blog to see what new work you have come up with.
